New Orleans police received calls about a pedestrian hit by a train around 2:30 pm on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.
According to the preliminary investigation, a man died after he attempted to cross railroad tracks with his bicycle. Investigators say, a slow-moving train traveling westbound struck the victim.
